Yasmin - Graceful, charismatic, fluid and a natural performer, Yasmin began her music, rhythm, and dance training at the age of three in Vancouver, BC. While she focuses exclusively on the dance of her Egyptian heritage, her training spans Ballet, Modern and Hip Hop dance forms. Her artistry stems from her modernization of classical dance forms and has given her the opportunity to dance around the world with Govinda and Thievery Corporation. Recent achievements include attaining Level 2 certification in the Suhaila Salimpour bellydance format, dancing at Lollapalooza, Voodoo Festival, NYC Central Park, and other major stages, as well as being the first bellydancer in its 25 year history to perform on the well-respected Austin City Limits television program.
